A supplement used to help manage the formation of calcium oxalate bladder stones in dogs.
Given orally K-CIT-V increases the citrate levels in the urine, resulting in the calcium binding with the citrate instead of the oxalate. This is a desired result, as calcium citrate tends to stay dissolved whereas calcium oxalate tends to precipitate out as mineral deposit.
