Biomox (amoxicillin) is a broad-spectrum, semi-synthetic antibiotic that provides bactericidal activity against a wide range of common Gram-positive and Gram-negative pathogens. It is indicated in the treatment of soft tissue infections (abscesses, wounds, lacerations) caused by susceptible strains of Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus spp., E. coli, Proteus mirabilis and Staphylococcus spp. Not for use in pregnant or breeding animals. For oral use in dogs only.
